The 2009 Fall 9-Ball San Diego TAP Titleholder Tournament was held at Pacific Q in Encinitas on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Pacific Q division winners, Straight Shooters, claimed victors to the title as the first-ever Pacifc Q San Diego TAP 9-Ball Titleholder Champions!  Congratulations Straight Shooters, 2009 Fall 9-Ball Titleholder Champions!  You have claimed a place in San Diego TAP history! Staraight Shooters, led by Captain Jim Smith and team, Mike Hartman, aka H-Man, Chris Kydd, Jonnie Williams, Jake Yardly, Brandon Kravitz, Ron Shepherd,and Brian Riehl played a close and exciting match with opponent Q Sharks, winning 3 - 1 to claim the title!  Q Sharks led by Captain, Russ Kubart and team, Matt Mcallister, Brian Benjamin, Trent Ulm, and Katie Decker matched well with the division winners but fell short losing in the fourth match, giving Straight Shooters the third and title-clinching win! Special thanks to Jim Smith, owner Pacific Q, for hosting TAP 9-Ball throughout the session and the 9-Ball Titleholder Championship!  Jim, you have the finest 9-foot tables in San Diego and the best place to play league - Thank You! Special thanks to Pacific Q bartenders, Jonnie and Rosie for your warm welcome to our players each week and giving them great service and beautiful smiles! It is appreciated by all! Finally, extra special thanks to all Pacific Q players for their support and participation in TAP and making TAP 9-Ball fun and exciting! Stop by Pacific Q on Wednesday evenings to play some pool and watch our Singles Division players compete for session-ending top-shooter payouts and to earn a selection on San Diego TAP's 8-Ball Dream Team to participate in the Rally at Bally's Dream Team Event held during TAP Nationals 2010 in Las Vegas!
