   The Association for Pool (TAP) is a first-class nationally organized amateur pool league with a reputation as a league dedicated to providing value for your dollar, quality entertainment, and superior player satisfaction! 

   TAP was founded in1989 in Fairfax, Virginia and quickly became "the league to play" for pool players respecting the game the way it was meant to be played - Call your pocket - No Slop Pool!!   

   San Diego TAP members are part of an amateur pool league with over 70,000 TAP members in the United States and Canada. Like many successful businesses, TAP is always looking for just the perfect place to introduce its product and found it in San Diego!


   San Diego was carefully selected and determined to be the perfect west coast county to establish a TAP League. TAP has seen tremendous success and growth on the east coast and is proud now to have many successful west coast TAP leagues!

Does San Diego TAP play 8 and 9-Ball?   

Yes, 8-Ball is call-pocket and 9-Ball is modified Texas Express. TAP is a handicap league ranging from 2 - 7. Team total handicap is 25 which allows teams a lot of room for strategizing their matches against opponents.

What does San Diego TAP charge players each week?

San Diego TAP players pay only $6 a week! As a team, 5 players must shoot each week in a match.

TAP's scorekeeping provides the most accurate record of your individual matches and results in a true determination of your skill level.
