The 2009 North County Coastal 9-Ball TAP Titleholder final match was held at Scotland Yard in Vista, Monday, February 8, 2010.  It was an exciting match, coming down to the 5th match between the two Scotland Yard teams, Good 2Be Us and the Cinderella team led by Debbie Hanson, Billy's Bad Mad Dogs Klan to determine the winner! Players and spectators were treated to a show of fine pool shooting! It was a lot of fun! To the 9-Ball Titleholder Champions, Captian, Craig Smith and his team, Scott Shaw, Ben Saballegue, Rich Davis, Jim Gordon, Nathan Bird, and Jamie Carl, congratulations and special thanks to each of you for a well-played session and for your participation and continued support of San Diego TAP! As 9- Ball Titleholder Champions, Good 2Be Us has qualified for a spot in the first-ever San Diego TAP 9-Ball Championship to be held in San Diego this October where one team will win a trip to the 2010 TAP Nationals, November 3 - 8 at Bally's Casino in Las Vegas!  Finally, special thanks to Scotland Yard for hosting TAP 9-Ball session and to Deanna for her warm welcome each week throughout the session and during the final playoff match!  Your smiles and hospitality add to the fun and enjoyment! Thanks! San Diego TAP welcomes players of all ages. Join as a family and compete with other families also enjoyng some quality family fun together!

Congratulations to San Diego TAP's 2009 Cinderella team, Billy's Bad Mad Dogs Klan for an exceptional finish to the Fall 9-Ball session to come from last place to earn a playoff spot in the 9-Ball Titleholder! Led by Captain, Debbie Hanson, her team, Greg Hanson, Dave Johnson, Devin Hanson, Barbara Astorga, Nicole Astorga, Miguel Hernandez, and Kenda Ruth shot an outstanding match in the semi-finals with North County Coastal division-winners, No-X-Cues' to win a spot in the finals. Outstanding! The 9-Ball semi-finals were held February 1, 2010 at Boars Cross'n in Carlsbad. Four teams competed, including division winners, No X-Cues, led by captain, Raley Harrison; Good 2Be Us, led by captain, Craig Smith; Not That Team, led by captain, Dan Wiese; and Billy's Bad Mad Dogs Klan, led by captain, Debbie Hanson. Special thanks to all teams playing in the Fall 2009 9-Ball session, including My Dad, led by captain, Felix Verran, taking 5th place in the division and Red-Headed Stepchild, led by captian, Terry Henry, taking 6th place. Thanks to each player on the six teams playing Fall session for an exciting 15 weeks that was a close race down to the last week! Your continued participation and support of San Diego TAP is appreciated! Special congratulations to 2009 Fall 9-Ball MVPs: Handicap 4 - 5, Ces Ralston with game-winning 73.47% and match-winning 87.50% scores. Handicap 2 - 3, Rich Davis with game-winning 69.23% and match-winning 77.78% scores. MVP numbers are generated for players with at least 8 matches played in the session.  Finally, special thanks to Boars Cross'n for hosting TAP 9-Ball and your warm welcome and hospitality each week!
